How many souls are perishing emotionally, physically, socially, financially and spiritually because you are not writing those books or putting up those conferences or giving out that money/resources to that brother? How many are perishing by going to hell because you are not preaching that word or refusing to share those encouraging words even as the Lord has prompted you to? How many souls are boxed in and not in the place God has ordained for them just because you are refusing to utilize your talents and gifts?
What has the Lord told us to do? Let’s get back to our prophecies, to the dreams, imaginations, visions and trance we testified to. We were supposed to do some of the things long time ago; a week, month, year or two ago, but we are still stagnant because we are giving excuses. Do you know the number of people who have perished within those two weeks or a year or five or ten years in which you’ve refused to obey the instruction of God? How many more must perish?! Ministry isn’t for you, but the people God wants to reach out to. Somebody somewhere is praying right now, that is why the Lord says write that quote. Somebody has been praying to make his marriage work that is why you received that prophecy to put up that marriage conference! Yes, the Lord does use ministry to bless us as well, but don’t forget first and foremost, it is for somebody out there to be blessed just as somebody engaged in the errand of the Lord and you were blessed! So, can I bold to say if you’ve not obeyed the instruction of God enough to bless others, your reward will not come? If you do not engage in the responsibilities of your ministry, there will be no reward for you. Sometimes, we think we can get away with the responsibilities and yet be rewarded. We claim the blessings but don’t want to do the work. It doesn’t work that way.

STAND FOR THE TRUTH!
Maybe you have even regretted telling a truth to a loved one, because your words have been twisted against you or they might have even tarnished your image. You might have cried in your closet and murmured regretfully, “I wish I had kept quiet! Look at where I have found myself now!” It is just as Job cursed his day and Jeremiah wished he died in his mother’s womb!
If you are making confessions like these men, I want to tell you that the Lord didn’t call you to shame but unto glory and virtue! God is love, and everyone that loves the Lord lives by the truth. Maybe you have sacrificed your whole being, committing to the things of God and have uncompromising stance in the truth of God’s Word but still finds yourself in a position that looks like those amount to nothing. Failure and shame seem to be the result, but no, that isn’t it! God is saying, “I am well pleased with you…”
LAUNCH OUT!
Many of us, like the fishermen, have toiled so long we have given up on trying again. We have toiled in our marriages, jobs and ministries to no avail. We toil in our finances and our families and see no results, then we want to throw in the towel. What made a difference for the men is that they yielded their vessel for Jesus to use. We need to surrender every vessel; that is our marriages, every project, idea and all areas of our lives to God first. Make up your mind that you will let Him have His way in your life so you’ll use your finances to do what He wants you to.

The mere fact that you are failing does not mean that God has not sent you. God sent Joseph yet look at the struggles he went through. He is testing your faithfulness. God sent Jesus to the cross though He was obedient to His calling. Your setback must not cause you to deny your faithfulness. God will promote you to a position that your results cannot attain.

We are captivated with results that we break all divine process, abuse friendships; neglect our divine responsibilities so we can achieve a temporary progress. We want result at any cost even sometimes using the methods of the devil as long as it seems to facilitate our progress. We will lie, cheat, dishonor and have no qualms about it just to get ahead. We are careless about who we hurt as long as we achieve a notable progress of our agenda. We want result at any cost that we neglect the dealings of God if it does not promote our ambition.
