The gospel message is love at all cost. It is taking up your cross and crucifying every self-reputation, agenda, ambition and embracing the counsel of the Lord. Peter nearly stained the purity of such glorious message by cutting of the ears of the soldier. He was zealous but without knowledge. How many believers action have cut off the ears of many of their persecutors, opposers, unbelievers, scorners that they cannot hear the gospel. We stand for the truth with dubious means. Our gospel has been the means to propagate our selfish agenda, nourish our covetousness and hawk our merchandize. Though our zeal is commendable our lifestyle of profanity has put off many to embrace the message….
Our religious zeal without love has done much more harm than we know. If our love actions supersede our preaching we will have more impact in changing lives for the kingdom of God. For the word of God preached in love has the ability to attach the ears to even a hardened criminal, a derelict, or scum of the society to hear the Father’s heartbeat. It is time to sheath every sword of religious zeal and allow love to prevail.
ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE!
WHERE DO YOU STAND? Part 2
NOT ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD! (2)
The LORD is looking to and fro, in search of whom He will show Himself mightily in this end-time. But He will not see and choose as the world sees, but by His Spirit will search the heart. If He finds your heart pure with Him, then you will find favor with Him.
If you know you have fallen short in His glory, don’t cover it up. People of God, come unto him with a repentant heart and He will restore you. You might be influencing people with your words; with how long you’ve been in the ministry. You are glittering in the sight of men with titles, but you know you are not standing right with God spiritually; the Spirit of God has departed from you.
NOT ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD! (1)
Many in the church are deceived. They are as the servants of Saul, going with him into battles which the LORD has never backed. Just like the servants of Saul, many of us are ignorant. Let the eyes of our understanding be enlightened, that we may know the hope of our calling which is to be like Jesus. Yet, if the leader himself we look up to for this spiritual enlightenment is rejected of God, how can the eyes of our understanding be enlightened? With the absence of spiritual enlightenment, how then can we live a holy lifestyle? How can we know the true servant of God who carries God’s anointing or truth when all we look at is how well-dressed or theologically-sound the man or woman of God is, and deny the spirit-man that is at work in the person?
Read moreOur “scribes” have made people to believe it takes long prayers for God to do anything. I believe in sacrifice and perseverance but that is not the only way God operates. They have nullified the simplicity of the gospel to exploit people. There are ministers who scare people with demonic visions so they can exploit them to fulfill their selfish ambition. What will take a simple application of a spiritual principle, we ‘spiritualize’ and complicate with words that have no bearing to the situation so they can get people to depend on them. When they are not needed they feel threatened. Scribes have made Christianity tough and complicated. They do that so the spiritually weak will need them.
Read moreOur scribal leaders are so captivated with titles to elevate themselves above others. They want their accolades to be ranted from the podium. Our leaders are puffed up with titles yet are void of spiritual authority to back it up. We have leaders who masquerade around with titles who don’t have the character to back it up. They bear the office but do not care about the responsibility of their office. They want the title of the calling but not the service of such calling. We have so much titles but not the corresponding services. We have much apostles than apostolic work.
Read moreToday’s scribes equate exposure to men to be success. Therefore they do whatever it takes to be exposed through television, radio, and any technological media. The scribes are so addicted to spectators therefore they build their ministries to draw such exposure rather than God’s presence. They preach to incite the congregation’s favor but will not live to win divine favor. They measure their status by the applause they win. The church has become men oriented than God motivated. We have structured our services to cater to the pleasure of the people rather than God. That is what has neutralized our effectiveness to change people. There are many leaders today who are so exposed to men, and yet don’t spend time with God.

Christ will not give His authority without His presence. Therefore, anyone who exhibits spiritual authority without Christ’s presence is in deception. It is needful for every genuine minister of God to have Christ’s presence to validate his commission because without him you are in the category of the scribes. Any interpretative skills, oratory or theatrics without His presence cannot raise disciples in the caliber that Christ expects. It takes Christ’s presence to raise genuine disciples of Christ. The power of transformation from worldliness to Christianity resides in Christ presence.

All our spiritual expressions without Christ can only affect the outward senses. It will only take the Spirit of Christ to impact the spirit of man. Our eloquence, rhetoric is only able to touch the intellect, stimulate the emotions, strengthen the will but they fail to enter in to the spirit to impart life. Without the Spirit of Christ all our ministrations will be just soulical and peripheral. It takes the Spirit of Christ for the spirit of man to experience the things of God.
