We ‘trust’ a person because they are filled with and influenced by the Holy Spirit. We trust the Holy Spirit in them to influence them to do and not to do certain things. A man can do what good he has promised or we expect from them because the Spirit quickens them to do so. Therefore, it is the Spirit in them that we trust and not the ‘flesh’ man. God said the one who trusts in Him is blessed. It is the God in the person that we trust and not the person himself. Therefore, to ‘trust’ a man, first find out if there is God in him.

THE ARM OF FLESH WILL FAIL! (1)
When those you trust most betray you, God is only teaching you how to trust Him ALONE and COMPLETELY!Thus, when betrayal comes, instead of wallowing in pain and hurt which produces hatred, offense, bitterness, sorrow and anger – which are all sins – and finding ways to trust again, rejoice, knowing that God loves you so much to pave a way or give you a chance to trust in Him fully in order to grant you your expectations. If you want to ‘trust’ that adulterous husband to be faithful, then stop trusting in him and trust in God!
Full trust in God and zero dependability on man will release your blessings. It is your full faith (which produces trust) in God which will grant you your expectations from God according to His will for you. Hence, whereby you trust any other person, it means God doesn’t have your full trust/faith/dependability and that cannot grant you what you expect from God and His blessings for you.

It is very important that we realize that our spiritual location will determine our acceptance or rejection by God. Your spiritual location dictates the state of your morality.
