How many souls are perishing emotionally, physically, socially, financially and spiritually because you are not writing those books or putting up those conferences or giving out that money/resources to that brother? How many are perishing by going to hell because you are not preaching that word or refusing to share those encouraging words even as the Lord has prompted you to? How many souls are boxed in and not in the place God has ordained for them just because you are refusing to utilize your talents and gifts?
What has the Lord told us to do? Let’s get back to our prophecies, to the dreams, imaginations, visions and trance we testified to. We were supposed to do some of the things long time ago; a week, month, year or two ago, but we are still stagnant because we are giving excuses. Do you know the number of people who have perished within those two weeks or a year or five or ten years in which you’ve refused to obey the instruction of God? How many more must perish?! Ministry isn’t for you, but the people God wants to reach out to. Somebody somewhere is praying right now, that is why the Lord says write that quote. Somebody has been praying to make his marriage work that is why you received that prophecy to put up that marriage conference! Yes, the Lord does use ministry to bless us as well, but don’t forget first and foremost, it is for somebody out there to be blessed just as somebody engaged in the errand of the Lord and you were blessed! So, can I bold to say if you’ve not obeyed the instruction of God enough to bless others, your reward will not come? If you do not engage in the responsibilities of your ministry, there will be no reward for you. Sometimes, we think we can get away with the responsibilities and yet be rewarded. We claim the blessings but don’t want to do the work. It doesn’t work that way.

How many of us are making ourselves unavailable for God to use us as vessels to bless others just because we have allowed our carnality to get in the way? We might have been praying every day for the Lord to use us as His vessels of honor but then when the time comes, we are unavailable because we are busy with carnal things. We don’t even see it because our eyes are blurred with our carnality. We don’t hear the Lord even if we see it because our ears are filled with why we can’t do so. Perhaps somebody feels lonely and needs words of comfort and encouragement. He’s been praying to the Lord and the Lord sees you as a worthy vessel to use to comfort that person. All you might have to do is to say words of encouragement in a nice way. But then perhaps you are full of bitterness and offense against that person so you won’t even talk to him come to think of encouraging him. Perhaps such a person is on the verge of giving up in life, about to commit suicide. Perhaps you have heard the Lord clearly (in a vision, dream, trance, etc) that you must help this person, yet your flesh is getting in the way. Do you know that you might be held responsible for his life?
For some, the Lord might want to use you to bless them materially and so He places financial wealth in your hands. But then you don’t seem to like them so you’ve vowed never to give them even a penny of your savings! Perhaps you are too stingy and you don’t see that you are privileged to be used by the Lord to bless others financially! Your carnality and stingy nature have hardened your spirit so much that you can’t even be sensitive to the Spirit of God that God blessed you financially because of such a person. The Lord has granted you that money because He wants to answer somebody’s prayers for financial breakthrough! That money doesn’t belong to you, so give it out! You are only a vessel!

Jesus is not satisfied with a commitment that springs from a life of worldliness (James 4:4). There are many dedicated and diligent believers yet very worldly in nature. Biblical Christianity has declined in our era because our pews are filled with carnal believers who refuse to move into the mountain of the Spirit. Whatever has been birthed in the wrong location of the flesh has no spiritual significance before God. It is very important that we realize that our spiritual location will determine our acceptance or rejection by God. Your spiritual location dictates the state of your morality.
